Covenant Revelation

Today, we will bring revelation about this holy alliance. God wants to partner with us through covenant. This is not a religion. This is a submitted relationship. He has an eternal covenant with us. Now He overcame the world and bought us with His blood. He cut this contract with us on the cross. As He was cut, He gave Himself up for us. Now we are committed, and when we say, “Yes,” we become His bride. We are to be faithful to Him as we leave our old lover, the harlot, Babylon. Become one with the Kingdom of God.

David and Jonathan made a covenant, a picture of how they cut a covenant contract. God shows so many symbolic things in what they did. Jesus did the same, but you will only see it by revelation. The world copies so much, but I am speaking of Christ and the Church.

The natural covenant between David and Jonathan can help us to understand this new spiritual covenant: we put on Christ; we exchange belts, girding our loins with Truth; we die for Him and for one another; we become a living sacrifice; we have the blood of Jesus; Jesus got all cut up for us; we exchange names, getting now a new name according to the book of Revelation; the scar is a reminder of the covenant. Jesus was resurrected but kept the scar as a reminder. There was a memorial celebration the same way we have the marriage supper of the lamb. They planted a tree. This new covenant, the cross, represents that tree (wood cross). That cross became a memorial. Jesus was planted into the ground! And He was lifted up for everyone on the cross when He was nailed and when He was planted in the ground and rose. This is amazing. The religion minded will not let us see more than the pages in a book. God is spirit. He formed man for a plan. He breathed His Spirit into man, and He breathed life into him. And they became “them.” He took the woman out of the man. Adam was made in the image of God, so a perfect marriage is a perfect picture of a loving God. Two becoming one again. This is a mystery, but God’s purpose is Christ and the church from the beginning. What separated us in the garden, Jesus overcame. Now we can be the Bride of the second Adam.

We can’t now fornicate with anything from the World because He is serious about commitment: commitment to the cross, to die, to not be led by the flesh.

Jonathan was Saul’s son. Jonathan had a covenant with David and not with his father. He forsakes all. Jonathan, because of his covenant and love for David, told David that his father was after him. When David discerned this jealousy and hate, he sought Jonathan’s counsel and help. Because of his alliance with David and his love for the kingdom, Jonathan forsook his father and warned and helped David. We see this when Jesus said, “Whosoever comes to Me and does not forsake father, mother, brother is not worthy of me.” And He also said, “Love Him with all your heart, mind, and all that is in you.” Because of covenant, it is all of us for all of Him. We got a great deal!

In this covenant relationship, God is not looking for perfection. David made tons of mistakes. David’s cry was, “Give me clean hands and a pure heart.” When Saul made mistakes, he said, “Samuel, make me look good in front of people,” man pleasing and pride, so God removed the anointing because he never repented. Man picks man (Flesh). God picks Davids (Spirit). Religion picks the letter. The Spirit picks the spirit. Jesus is the living Word. He is alive. Let us be one!

We leave the World and we cleave to Jesus. If our family is not following Jesus, we leave them, too. Not concerning love, but in lifestyle, having no alliance with the world. Sometimes what puts people together is not God. It is convenience, it is tax purposes, it is fornication, it is religion, to become a citizen of a nation, man’s agendas. When God puts people together in a holy covenant, we just know. They stay together because of covenant. Satan is the god of this world. This is why there is so much perversion and divorce. The Body bears witness of it. The religious people follow the letter and try to maintain a covenant that will not stand by the Spirit. Because the dead follow the dead. The spirit walks in the spirit. This is what proves we are the sons of God.

Now let’s look at Christ and the church in this covenant. God is so jealous. That’s why He sets our relationship with us through an unbreakable covenant. Unbreakable from His side, because we still cheat on Him all the time. We shall leave everything (world) and cleave unto Christ.

This is the greatest mystery, but Paul was speaking concerning Christ and the church. We are part of Him. So, when we choose compromise and the world, we spiritually fornicate with Delilah or Jezebel or the Harlot, whatever we want to call her. We are His wife. We reverence our husband. David said that His covenant he will not break. He understood about commitment, covenant with God and one another. Now we are in the Spirit and are also considered a Body like Jonathan and David. God wants the Body to walk like this: every joint supplying one another. Religious people cannot discern the body. The bible says it’s because of this: Many are sick. When we take the blood and the bread (body) of Christ, we need to discern this. Many are fainting and many are weak because they are separated unto themselves with a book in their hand, but they are dying in the spirit not being connected to the source. The unity is where the anointing flows.

Witness means martyr. When you have a covenant with Him, we will die for Him. We might possibly have to, but for sure to ourselves as a living sacrifice. You will lay down your life for Him. We must keep hearing the Truth, going to the altar, having accountability with one another, or we will not preserve this covenant. We must flee Babylon. Cleave to the Word of Truth. Stay in Him. Come out from among them. Separate yourself. Touch not any unclean thing. We are bought with a price: His blood. That is the price of our covenant. We have His grace when we humble ourselves and allow Him to do what He needs to make us ready. He has given us grace to become the sons of God.

We cannot have a covenant with someone that does not have a covenant with Him. We are speaking about Christ and the church. The World does not have a covenant with Him. Why would we have a covenant and be unequally yoked to it or to them? Sometimes to do the right things brings the worst consequences. If you love Him, and if you have a covenant with Him, He will make sure that you stay on course.

The putting away has to be led by God. The separation between two people has to be led by the Spirit of God. In some cases, God will say “put away;” in another, He will say, “Let me sanctify it.” Some people following their flesh will say, “Let me stay with that person in the world by the law and I will sanctify it.” We can’t go by the letter only. We need to be led by His Spirit. One voice: His voice. Because of our covenant with Christ, we have covenant with one another. We have covenant with Jesus. We lay down our lives for Him. We won’t fornicate with the World. Father, have mercy and grace and lead us back to that eternal covenant, the way of your will, your truth, and your amazing love. As we look to that memorial of the cross, we see love, commitment, and sacrifice and say, “Let it be done unto me. Make me a faithful bride.”
