The Joy of your Salvation

God wants His joy to be strengthening us. His joy is the portion that comes with our salvation. God called the Kingdom of God Himself. We need the joy of the Lord. That joy is a well that you can tap into anytime. If you are living in depression, you need to be free. Most of us get in the way of God, and we live in bondage, never tasting His joy.

There is counterfeit joy. There is a false joy, people acting up, acting out of control. There is no holy joy if you are not holy. It’s only in Christ. In Nehemiah, it was said: “Let the joy of the Lord be your strength,” and through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that joy can remain. Jesus is your salvation. If you don’t have joy, you better get it back. That is no way to live, in heaviness all the time. He said, “Come all who are heavy laden and find rest.”

People are so thirsty because they are not drinking. They are drinking bitterness, doubt, and unbelief. You can be in the middle of persecution and still find joy! You will cry but joy will come in the morning because He is our comforter. We should be crying out to find salvation. In finding salvation, we will find joy. The soul shall rejoice in His salvation and be connected to Him. He will restore the joy of our salvation. David cried out for the presence of the Lord. In His presence, He found the fullness. David had a revelation of Jesus before He even came on earth in the flesh! He said, “Lord, bring me the joy of my salvation.”

Our strength is Jesus! Without Him we can do nothing, but we still do a lot without Him. However, all we do does not bear fruit, and if there are any fruits, they won’t remain unless we keep His Word! A good sign of false joy versus real joy: abiding in His Word! If He is the spring of life, pump the well! If He is the spring of joy, pump the well. If He is the spring of strength, pump the well. His joy will become your joy if you abide in Him by abiding in His Word!

If you stick to Him, living water will spring up out of you, but only if you abide! Selfish people can’t have joy because they are only connected to themselves! Some people are so close to God, but they don’t bear any fruits. It does not make sense, right? We need to have fruits of repentance. That is a sign of abiding in Him because when they don’t do what He told them to do, they repent and go right back to that place of abiding.

We are all ORDAINED to bear fruits and fruits that remain! Do you want to be ordained? He already did it right here (John 15:15). Where are your fruits?

We are to have joy, the fullness of it! This is our portion. Why are we allowing ourselves to steal it? The devil comes to steal, kill, and to destroy your harvest of fruits.

Some people only want the benefits of salvation. There is no authentic joy without abiding in His Word. It won’t last. The well of salvation is the fullness of joy! It is so tangible. The rebel dwells in the dry land. They can’t ever drink from that well.

In the fruits that come from Him, there are no thorns and thistles. The religious people have learned how to live without water! They are like cactuses and palm trees. No roots. No water. And no fruits!

We are supposed to be oaks of righteousness. So, some people just get a little water here and there but not enough. Some people keep saying, “Look, at the fruits!” They are all smiles but no real fruits at all! They carry not the fruit that comes from the real holy branch: Jesus!

The antichrist spirit will NEVER bear the fruits of the Spirit. It will never carry the real joy within. Then they will deny the real fruit. Joy is the fruit of the Spirit. If you are not filled with the Spirit, you are not filled with His real joy. If you are not obeying the Word, you are not abiding in Him. Then your joy won’t last.

Fear will cut off your fruit. Fear will cut off your faith. To tap into the well of joy, you need to have faith. Sometimes, because of the counterfeit joy, people get afraid to tap into it! False joy is out there, but real joy is available as well! Don't let those little foxes cut off your joy. Joy is your portion!

When His joy shall be revealed, we will be glad with exceeding joy! The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Broken cisterns cannot hold anything! Joy is not about people, places, and things. It is about Him!

Why do we need to keep testing the waters all the time? Either you know by the Spirit or you don’t! Your spirit will discern it for you! I am not talking about Sunday’s joy, when you walk in the room and have a smile on your face. I’m talking about that kind of joy that causes you to repent.

Joy is Jesus! He has become my salvation. Keep His Word. Abide in Him, and the fruit of joy will always be there. Your real fight is to stay in that place, not to get in that place, because His blood already did it. It brought you to it! With joy you can draw out more joy, from the well of salvation!

Religious people say they love the Truth, but they don’t drink from it! We can drink from Him, the well of joy, every, single day just by abiding in Him! No more garments of heaviness but of praise! Put Christ on, and dig into the well of joy! Shane Roessiger
